The weekend snow wraps up in the morning and a few flurries will move across the tip of the Arrowhead in the early hours before the sun rises. Plows have worked to clear roadways across the Northland as many head out to work and school today. Some spots may still be snow covered or slippery so do use caution.

Conditions will be very blustery and frigid as we soon as we step outside, and temperatures will continue to stay below zero and the wind chills will remain in the teens to twenty below. Some spots across the Iron Range and Arrowhead will even be a thirty below zeros as the northwest winds gust up to 25 mph.

A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect through 10 AM this morning across the majority of northern Minnesota.

Light snow will cross the South Shore as lake effect precipitation continues today and into tomorrow. Accumulation will remain minimal with at most an inch or two.

Temperatures will return to normal but the middle of the week, but the chilly air will return for a frigid weekend ahead.
