Three Bulldogs land on National Goalie of the Year watch lists
Three University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) hockey goaltenders are getting national recognition.
Both Ève Gascon (sophomore) and Tindra Holm (senior) have been named to the 2025 National Women’s Goalie of the Year watchlist. The Women’s Hockey Commissioners Association named 33 to the initial list. Gascon currently boasts a .944 saves percentage and a 1.62 goals against average. Holm owns a 1.82 GAA and .916 saves percentage. The winner who will be announced in March during the women’s Frozen Four.
Additionally, Klayton Knapp is among 35 male netminders to land on the Mike Richter Award watchlist. The rookie owns a 2.08 GAA and a .915 saves percentage in six games so far this season. The winner will be announced in April during the men’s Frozen Four.
