The ‘Folsom Prison Experience’ comes to Duluth
On January 13, 1968, Johnny went to Folsom Prison to perform and record a live album. The Folsom Prison Experience is coming to the DECC.
The Folsom Prison Experience is an immersive tribute drama that takes you back in time. On January 13, 1968, Johnny Cash performed a concert for Folsom prisoners and recorded a live album. The show is made to make you feel as if you were an inmate.
The cast of over a dozen people has been performing this show for three years now regionally. Soon, they will take the show out East.
Catch the Folsom Prison Experience in Duluth on Saturday, January 18, at 7 p.m. at the Decc’s Symphony Hall.
