A big donation given by Rotary Club of Duluth to Neighborhood Youth Services
The Rotary Club of Duluth gave a big donation to the Duluth community organization, Neighborhood Youth Services on Thursday.
Thursday afternoon, The Rotary Club of Duluth made a $15,000 donation to Neighborhood Youth Services at the Kitchi Gammi Club.
Pez Davila, Executive Director of Neighborhood Youth Services, says the money will help fund a Mental Health Specialist at their organization.
Davila says more and more they see Duluth area youth struggling with their mental health. He says this position will, “help them kind of refocus themselves, realize that you are way more than what you think you are. You can accomplish a lot more. You don’t have to chase these pressures that are out there for you to chase. You can find what makes you happy and what you are passionate about.”
