Prep Girls Basketball: Northwestern extends win streak to 11, Superior rebounds to best Duluth East
On Thursday, Northwestern girls’ basketball take home the win over Ladysmith, extending their win streak to 11 games; Superior came back from behind to defeat Duluth East.
In Maple, Northwestern, leading the Heart O’North conference, would advance their conference win streak to 14-0 and their overall record for the season to 16-4, with their 40-36 win over Ladysmith. In Superior, Superior extends their win streak to five with their narrow 56-49 win over Duluth East. Ava Meierotto would lead the Spartans in points, tallying 16 throughout the game, followed by Tara Stratton with 12 points, and Annabel Manion with eight. Duluth East would be led in points by Maggie Winesett with 13 points, followed by Abigail Schommer with 12 points, and Sierra Fuller with 8 points.
