Duluth East announced on Friday they have named Asia Swanson as the next head coach of their girls swim and dive team.

Swanson joined the program in 2018 as an assistant coach, then served as a co-head coach last season. During that 2024 slate, Duluth East won True Team for the first time in 14 years, finished second at the Section Meet, and sent their largest group to state in over a decade. That all earned Swanson a share of the Section 7AA Coach of the Year award.

Swanson is a graduate of Bemidji State University, and grew up in Saint Cloud, MN.
