Year-round fair food at McKenzie’s
McKenzie's is keeping their fair food items on their menu, year round.
The Great Minnesota Get Together has come to an end, with less than 352 days until the 2023 State Fair gets underway. But if you can’t wait that long, Mackenzie’s Bar & Grill has got you covered!
“Ee’ve always had the cheese curds on our menu, and they’ve been really popular. So then this year we decided to bring in the mini donuts and tacos and macaroni and cheese bites to add on to it.”
Over the last couple weeks, the Hermantown restaurant has had some fun fried specialty items for patrons to enjoy, timing out with the schedule of the State Fair.
The food has been such a hit, bartender Brooke Godmare told us they had to give them a permanent spot on the menu.
“You don’t have to drive all the way down to the Cities to enjoy what you can get down there,” shared Godmare.
Cheese curds, mini donuts, mini tacos, and mac-n-cheese bites are now a year-round item at Mackenzie’s.
