UMD men’s basketball falls in first round of NSIC tournament to Augustana

On Wednesday, the University of Minnesota Duluth men’s basketball team fell in the first round of the NSIC tournament 74-63 to Augustana.

The Bulldogs would be lead in points by Joshua Brown who would net 18 points against Augustana, followed by Charlie Katona with 14 points, and Kole Hanson with 11 points. UMD would make 19 percent of their three-pointers, and 54.2 percent of their free throws.

The Vikings would be lead in points by Sam Rensch who would net 19 points against UMD, followed by Tameron Ferguson with 17 points and Bennett Fried with 15 points. Augustana would make 25 percent of their three-pointers, and 78.6 percent of their free throws.
