Light wintry mix will be possible on Thursday morning north of the Iron Range toward the international border. These areas could see a quick dusting. Temperatures around the Northland will climb through the end of the week. This past Monday, thermometers skyrocketed some 30° above average as record highs were broken. By Friday, record highs will pop again ahead of a strong area of low pressure.

The arrival of this strong low is set to impact the region Friday through Sunday. A prolonged time of precipitation is expected as weather conditions bring in a variety of weather conditions.
