The change of seasons means a change of decor, and the Lupine Meadows Flower Truck can help.
Emily Vos is wrapping up her second season with the truck. She said the idea came during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I was kind of wondering how I could partner my passion for flowers and nature and then also I just really enjoy talking with people and meeting new people and hearing stories. And so I said to my husband, ‘What about a flower truck?’ And he was mostly on board,” Vos said.
She found the old truck up on the Range and attaches buckets to the side that are filled with flowers.
“I tell people all the time, if you put something together and you don’t really like the way it looks, put back what you don’t like, try again,” she said.
The flower truck will be at an Art in Autumn event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Duluth Studio Market on 45th Avenue E.
She’ll also have fresh-picked, homegrown pumpkins available.
