This weekend will continue to bring periodic rain shower chances, cool conditions and southerly winds turning northwesterly by Saturday afternoon. The fog we see Saturday morning will begin to burn off by mid-morning. We may even get a break from the rain too.
Rain and fog look to return by the late afternoon and early evening. Strong northwesterly winds are likely along Lake Superior shorelines starting Sunday and lasting into Monday. Temperatures will continue to be seasonal with upper 50s and lower 60s. More sunshine returns by Tuesday.
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of afternoon showers, with a high near 59. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
Sunday: A 30 percent chance of afternoon showers, some sun, breezy, with a high near 62. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Monday: A slight chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 57. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 62. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
