UMD football releases 2022 schedule, to kick off Sept. 1

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team released their 2022 schedule on Tuesday.They’ll place five home games and six road games in the regular season.

The regining Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) champion Bulldogs kick things off September 1st hosting Southwest Minnesota State University at 6pm at Malosky Stadium. The season and home opener will mark the first meeting between the two programs since 2018, and just fourth since 2014.

UMD will then hit the road September 10th visitng Minnesota State University, Mankato. Their regular season home finale will be October 29th against Minot State University.

Then, for the 4th straight season, they will wrap it all up tackling Northern State University November 12th. It will however be UMD’s first time playing at NSU’s Dacotah Bank Stadium.

The Bulldogs will hold their annual spring game on Friday, Apr. 22 at 5:30 PM from Malosky Stadium in Duluth.
