Duluth Haunted Ship – The nearly 700ft vintage ore boat – the S.S. William A. Irvin in Duluth – will once again put on its creepy finery this October because the Haunt is on! The crew attends national haunting conventions and the actors graduate from scare school to forge a world of horror, tormenting all the senses. This year’s theme “What are You Afraid of?” aims to answer that question by subjecting guests to almost every conceivable fright. This includes visual scares, but also smells, sounds, lights, temperature changes and maybe the occasional mild shock.
Every year the haunt is made anew with fresh horrors. Can You Navigate Duluth’s Haunted Ship?

Boo At The Zoo – Lake Superior Zoo, Duluth. Your family’s annual fall tradition is back on October 15, 22, and 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Bring the whole family and explore the Zoo with endless trick-or-treating stations, an ALL NEW Boo-tique, special Halloween-themed animal treats, food trucks, games & activities, and SO MUCH MORE!

Haunted Shack Haunted Ridge – in Carlton, Minnesota. Minnesota’s Scariest Haunted House & Hayride.
The Haunted Shack started several years ago as a community driven haunted house. It was just a small three hour production held in a small 600 square foot basement of the local fire hall in Gary New Duluth. Since then a great deal of effort has helped the shack expand into a thriving haunted attraction!

Devil’s Getaway Haunted Trail – in Finlayson, Minnesota. Have a BIG scare for a little buck! The Haunted Trail is a half mile trek through the forest in which you face your fears as they come to life before your very eyes. There is no turning back once you are dropped off by the hayride, as that would be foolish of yourself. You must face the fears before you. The trail is dark and gloomy with things that stalk you from a distance, with bloody red eyes, their intent unknown. Other creatures watch your every move. Orbs of light can be seen in the distance, not natural or man-made. They flicker on and off, as if they’re trying to talk. You here disembodied voices speaking to you, foretelling your fate to whom behold.

Haunted Forest – in Saginaw, Minnesota. The Haunted Forest is open. Bring your family, friends and come and enjoy yourself. We are family oriented. It is for all ages.

North Shore Scenic Railroad – The Great Pumpkin Train in Duluth. Journey aboard the annual Pumpkin Train Express to the grassy pumpkin patch that only appears once a year, on this very special weekend.
Each passenger gets to pick out their own pumpkin to take with them. The train ride is about 90 minutes total, and you’ll return to the Duluth Depot where you can stay all day to tour the railroad museum (included and open until 5pm), listen to live music, enjoy bounce-houses, food vendors, and much more. Helpful tip: Bring a bag to carry pumpkins in – Grocery bags work great.

North Shore Scenic Railroad – Terror Train – in Duluth. Climb aboard for the terror of the biggest and best adults-only costume party in the Northland. Board the train at the Duluth Depot and enjoy a 3 hour excursion up the shore and back (There is not a stop in Two Harbors), with live music in one barcar, and in another car DJ will spin some tunes, two fully stocked cash-bars, and all the fun passengers in costume.

Halloween Haunt at Valleyscare – in Shakopee, Minnesota. ValleySCARE is back again this fall with a vengeance. Watch as the park takes a terrifying turn at the Midwest’s largest Halloween event. With more than 75 rides, haunted mazes, scare zones, and monsters prowling the park, there is something to satisfy everyone’s devilish desire. Guests can also brave the fog and darkness while strapping into their favorite thrill rides.

Dead End Hayride – in Wyoming, Minnesota. Minnesota’s Ultimate Horror Experience
