Season opener for the Minnesota Twins delayed to Friday
Opening day for the Minnesota Twins will be delayed. The decision was made early Wednesday morning due to the weather forecast. The game against the Seattle Mariners will now be played on Friday, April 8 at 3:10 p.m.
A spring storm is moving across the upper midwest bringing wet snow and slippery conditions to the metro area early on Thursday, which will turn into rain and snow showers.
According to the Minnesota Twins office, anyone with tickets purchased for Thursday’s game will automatically have their tickets moved to Friday’s rescheduled game. If you are unable to attend Friday’s game, CLICK HERE for other ticket policies.
