Duluth Coffee Company celebrates 10 years

Tuesday, Duluth Coffee Company celebrated its 10 year anniversary.

The company, which started out in the owner’s garage now, is home to a 70 kilo roaster. Sales Manager Sam Levar says, “in about 10 minutes we roast about 100 pounds of coffee.”

Duluth Coffee Company is also serving as a leader in the industry as more and more smaller coffee shops have popped up over the year.

Sam says, “There’s been a lot of coffee shops that have opened in the past 10 years and Eric the owner has played a large part in helping them, doing some consulting for the equipment, and we now service equipment.”

While doing all that they still provide quality coffee for their own customers. Sam says, “That’s some of the most fun, just the community engagement and being able to see everybody on the street and know them by name or know them by beverage.”

On Tuesday at the anniversary party guest were treated to live music and latte art classes as well. The business says they are looking forward to the next ten years.
