Update: Duluth police say stabbing suspect in custody

Update: Around 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, Duluth police officers arrested a 45-year-old without incident for 1st Degree Assault in relation to the stabbing that occurred on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old male victim is in the hospital, and is listed as stable.

According to the DPD, he was stabbed around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of 96th Ave. W.

Police say the victim and suspect knew each other, and this was an isolated incident.
