UMD’s Maura Crowell named AHCA Coach of the Year finalist

University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey head coach Maura Crowell has been named a CCM/AHCA 2021-2022 Division I Women’s Coach of the Year finalist.
She’s one of seven up for the 25th annual award. Crowell first took home the honor back in 2017.
Currently in her seventh season behind the Bulldogs bench, she’s leading UMD to back-to-back NCAA Frozen Four berths for the first time since 2010 and 2011.
The winner of the coaching award will be announced on Friday during the women’s Frozen Four tournament semifinals. For a list of all the finalists, click here.
