UMD men’s hockey wins game one against St. Cloud

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team was against St.Cloud for their playoff conference opener.

The Huskies came in with the No. 9 spot, UMD is No.10.

UMD would score the first goal of the game off the stick off Noah Cates.

They would then trail by 2 goals, but responded with two of their own from Koby Bender just 30 second apart.

Bender would then score another in the second period completing the hattrick.

Followed by a Blake Biondi goal, to add fuel to the fire.

As UMD took game one 5-2, and will have a chance to close the series tomorrow at 6 p.m.
