4th annual St. Jude’s Fundraising dinner raises thousands for the cause

The Graysolon Ballroom was filled with UMD students, family and supporters raising money in the 4th annual St. Jude’s fundraising dinner.

Hosted by UMD’s Tau Kappa Epsilon social fraternity, the event is back after taking a year off from COVID.

After raising $25,000 dollars back in 2019, the group’s goal is to raise $30,000 this year. The event liason says the group is excited to carry on their fundraising efforts in person after months of hard work

"Just knowing that we couldn’t have this even because of COVID just makes it that much better now that we’re back," said Micah Hjelle. "So hopefully we’re raising the bar for fundraising yet again and we just keep that momentum."
