Beltrami County Jail Inmate Dies of Unknown Medical Condition

An inmate at the Beltrami County Jail died Sunday from an unknown medical condition, KSTP-TV reports.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Hardel Sherrell collapsed and was unresponsive.
Corrections staff performed CPR and used an AED, according to the sheriff’s office. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful, and Sherrell died at the facility.
The cause of death is being investigated by the Bemidji Police Department, Beltrami County Coroner’s Office and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
