Both UMD hockey teams cap off Saturday with a win

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) hockey teams both capped off Saturday with W’s.

The No. 5 Bulldogs headed back home after the victory Friday night against the Minnesota Gophers.

Todays game was much of the same as Blake Biondi led the charge with 1 goal, and 1 assist.

Casey gilling followed suit with a goal and assist himself, allowing UMD to skate to a 5-3 win.

The women team was on the road today making history in their first ever meeting with University of St.Thomas.

Back stopping the team as always was Emma Soderber, she was a wall tonight stopping every shot that came her way.

While Gabbie Hughes and Anna Klein each had a 2 point night, leading to a 3-0 Bulldog victory.
