Bulldog basketball tops CSS, UWS in pair of exhibition clashes

On Tuesday, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s and women’s basketball teams earned exhibition wins at Romano Gym.
The 18th ranked UMD women downed the College of St. Scholastica 91-22. The Bulldogs were scheduled to host the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) for their exhibition opener, but the Yellowjackets had to cancel due to Covid-19 protocols.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to host Bethel University for another exhibition game Saturday before visiting Drury University for their regular season opener November 16. The Bulldog and Yellowjacket men’s match still tipped-off as scheduled, with UMD earning the 96-55 win. The Bulldogs will tip-off their regular season November 12 hosting the University of Nebraska at Kearney to open the American Family Insurance Classic. For their full schedule, click here.
