A former Bulldog forward is going pro in Boston.
The great Elizabeth Giguere, a standout graduate transfer with the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team, has signed a deal with the Boston Pride.
Last season the 2020 Patty Kazmaier Award winner led UMD in scoring posting 62 points in 40 games. In her career she boasts 295 points which puts her sixth in all-time NCAA Division I history.
Also with the Boston Pride is Duluth Marshall girls’ hockey head coach Amanda Boulier. The Pride compete alongside the Minnesota Whitecaps in the Premiere Hockey Federation (PHF).
