Bulldog’s Will Francis beats cancer

University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey defenseman Will Francis has beaten Leukemia.
Battling the disease for the past two and a half years, Francis was given a clean bill of health this past weekend.
The incoming sophomore rang the bell at Fairview’s Masonic Children’s Hospital to signal his victory over B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
On a personal Instagram post Francis said,"I hope I can be an inspiration to others and show them anything is possible if you put your mind to it."
Francis appeared in five games this season for the Bulldogs.
