Parents and grandparents came together to remember the lives of lost loved ones Sunday evening at Lief Erikson Park.
A candlelight vigil took place at the Angel of Hope memorial and showcased a moving show of support from families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of losing a child.
"This is a great way to just come together with parents and not feel alone not feel like you’re on this journey of grief and loss all by yourself," said memorial founder, Deb Davis. "We will do this every year."
The memorial has a Facebook page called The Duluth Angel of Hope. There, you can find information on upcoming events and vigils, and a recording of tonights gathering.
The next vigil is set for December 6th.
