CEC tabs CSS alum Kennedy Houge as new girls hockey head coach

Following Courtney Olin’s resignation in late April the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (CEC) girls hockey team has now tabbed another former Saint to take the reins.

2019 College of St. Scholastica graduate Kennedy Houge has officially been hired as the Lumberjacks’ newest head coach. The Cloquet school board approved the move Monday.
Houge served as an assistant with CEC for the past three seasons.
A defenseman she’s now part of the Saints All-Decade team playing in 113 career games.
Additionally, her dad Steve Houge is in the Minnesota Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame for his time with St. Paul Johnson boys hockey.
