Chisholm school goes into COVID distance learning protocols
Starting tomorrow, Chisholm’s Vaughan Steffensrud Elementary School is moving to a 14-day distance learning period.
The district says it is due to an increasing number of COVID-19 cases with substantial classroom transmission. The quarantine is scheduled Sept. 16-Oct. 4.
"During this 14-day period, families should self-quarantine from activities in group gatherings to help minimize further transmission," a voice message to families said.
The district is asking faculty and families to monitor for symptoms and get tested for COVID-19. If there is a positive test, that person should contact the school.
Distance learning does not apply to Chisholm Elementary or the high school.
