City Council Candidate Tim Meyer meets with the community

With early voting continuing on in Duluth for the municipal primary election another candidate is hoping to secure more votes.

Tim Meyer, is running for City Councilor: At Large and met with supporters and the community at Valentini’s in Hermantown.
At his campaign rally today, he told us he’s excited to be in the race, and shared more about what his campaign is focusing on. He says he’s, “interested in diversifying our economy in Duluth and the economic development."

He also says that Duluth has really done well with tourism over the years so he would like to see attention put somewhere else. “I think it’s time to add another focus in terms of more manufacturing, industrial, and technology. You know development in Duluth,” Meyer says.
