Cloquet-Esko-Carlton suffers double OT loss to Mahtomedi in Class AA quarterfinals

In the Class AA state quarterfinals Tuesday, the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (CEC) boy’s soccer team suffered a 2-1 loss in double overtime to Mahtomedi in Irondale.

Jordan Aultman scored the sole goal for the Lumberjacks to tie the game 1-1 just before halftime. Lucas Yee Yick scored the game winner for the Zephyrs.

CEC closes out their 2021 season 12-5-1.
