CSS appoints Jason Schmitz new women’s basketball head coach

On Friday, the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) announced that Jason Schmitz is taking over as head coach of the women’s basketball team.

Schmitz takes over for Stacey Deadrick, who led the Saints for 27 seasons before transitioning into an administrative role in the athletics department in July. He will become the program’s eighth head coach.
