CSS’ Boone, Helmer NCAA championship bound

For the first time, the College of St.Scholastica (CSS) will send multiple runners to the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.

Sophomores Calvin Boone and Maj-Lis Helmer were named individual qualifiers on Sunday.

Boone is the CSS men’s second ever qualifier and Helmer is the women’s 5th.

The championships will take place at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday. The women’s race begins at 10 a.m. Central Time with the men’s race to follow at 11 a.m. Central Time.
