CSS volleyball suffers shutout loss in home, MIAC opener

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) volleyball team suffered a shutout loss to St. Olaf College in the Saints’ home and Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opener on Wednesday.

CSS stayed on the Oles’ heels throughout the night, but fell 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-19).

Madissen Burns led the Saints in kills with eight, while Alcia Draper tallied 16 digs, and Katie Brostom contributed 27 assists. For the full box score, click here.

With the loss CSS falls to 0-4. They’ll look to bounce back Tuesday hosting the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. First serve is set for 7pm in Duluth.
