DTA curtails some routes due to labor, bus availability
The Duluth Transit Authority is curtailing some service to the Miller Hill Mall and the Lake Superior Zoo, citing a combination of labor and bus availability.
The changes, which begin Friday, will affect some trips on Route 1 between downtown and the zoo and on Route 10H between downtown and the mall.
"We are looking at the current situation regarding our resources, and recognized that these temporary changes are the best way to provide reliable service in the near term," DTA General Manager Rod Fournier said.
An alert with details of the curtailed routes is posted on the DTA website. The DTA says some online resources such as the trip planner and Transit Mobile App may not immediately reflect the changes.

It’s not known when the trips will resume.
The DTA does not have a vaccine mandate in place. It says it continues to follow federal, state, and local guidance for COVID-19.
