The Duluth B Company Marines held their 71st annual reunion at the Duluth Depot Friday evening.
Back in August of 1950, 227 young men from Duluth marched downtown Duluth to the train station where they left for Camp Pendleton before being shipped to Korea.
There aren’t many of those marine’s left of those original 227, with those remaining now in their 90’s.
The Marines were joined by family and friends at the reunion, as well as a string quarter from the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra.
