The North Shore Ballroom Dance Studio in Duluth held one-year anniversary celebrations Friday.
The studio had a ceremonial ribbon cutting and hosted a free ballroom dance party to celebrate how much they’ve grown in the last year.
“We actually started at Stacey’s Studio of Dance Education–renting space from them while we were looking at finding our more permanent home,” explained owner Rae Lyons. “In August, we got this space and we did our build out in like a month. We moved in September 13th and then we’ve just grown from there. We hired three more staff members and an administrative assistant and we’ve been very busy in the last year.”
