Duluth FC falls in a shootout to Carpathia

Duluth FC scored early, but Carpathia crawled back to tie the BlueGreens and then went on to win in a penalty shootout to end Duluth’s season in the regional quarterfinals.

Jake Starling would score his first goal of the season to put Duluth in front first. The golden boy, Sidney Warden, made it a 2-0 game before the half. The BlueGreens would have chances to extend the lead in the second half, but Carpathia would scored a pair of goals to force overtime.

After no goals were scored in extra time, Carpathia took the 5-4 win in the shootout.
