Duluth Marshall, Wrenshall clinch Section 7A play-in games

While quarterfinals are scheduled for later this week, a handful of Minnesota volleyball teams served up section action Monday night.
Duluth Marshall and Lakeview Christian Academy started of Monday night, fighting to keep their seasons alive in a 7A play-in game.
Anna Heeren collected multiple kills and even an ace helping lead the Hilltoppers to a 3-0 win. They’ll visit Floodwood in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 7 p.m.
In another Section 7A play-in battle on Monday, 8 Seed Wrenshall hosted 9 seed Silver Bay.
The Mariners, Katie Carpenter hammered down the first points of the night, but ultimately fall to the Wrens 3-1.
Wrenshall will visit No. 1 Barnum Wednesday at 7 p.m.
