Duluth native Maren Friday earns ECAC Rookie of the Week for collegiate debut

Maren Friday made a name for herself on the Duluth Marshall girl’s hockey team, and now she’s already doing the same at Union College.
Tallying a goal and an assist in each of her first two collegiate games, the freshman defenseman earned ECAC Rookie of the Week honors on Monday.
One of her points included the game winning goal Saturday over RIT to help the Dutchwomen off to a 2-0 start to the season.
