Duluth Pack host pups and packs dog adoption

Are you looking for a new four-legged furry family member? Will if you are, the Duluth Pack was the place to visit Friday.

The company partnered with ruffwear and northern lakes rescue for an adoption event of their sweet puppies as well as older dogs. Duluth pack is a legendary retail store that was more than eager to host this event.

“We are so proud to bring this fun in-store family-friendly experience event to the northland community and assist in finding these animals forever homes”, in a statement said by Andrea Johnson, Duluth Pack’s marketing manager.

Many precious pups that were adopted during the pandemic, were unfortunately surrendered.

“A lot of people during the pandemic were home and having things to do, so they thought why not adopt a cute puppy. But then as the pandemic was recovering and people were starting to get back out in the community, then the dogs are still there. Some people didn’t have quite the plan of what next. When I’m back to work, what’s going to happen to the dog?”, said Meredith Kujala northern lake rescue PR manager.
