Early voting for 2022 elections begins on Friday
Minnesota’s Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, August 9. Ahead of that, voters have the option to cast their ballots early, starting Friday, June 24.
To submit an absentee ballot request, visit either the Secretary of State or the City of Duluth‘s websites. A witness is required for primary ballots of all voters.
Voters are encouraged to request an absentee ballot before July 15 to ensure timely delivery. You’re asked to mail return ballots by August 2, ensuring delivery before Election Day.
Voters can also return ballots in person to City Hall. Absentee ballots are recommended to be received by the City Clerk’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 9.
Beginning Friday, Duluth voters can cast their ballots early in person at Duluth City Hall, 411 W. 1st Street, in Room 318. You do not need an appointment to vote.
