Former Bulldog captain Sydney Brodt signs pro deal in Sweden

Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey standout Sydney Brodt will be skating overseas.
The three-time Bulldog captain has signed a one-year deal with the Linkoping Hockey Club (LHC) of the Swedish Hockey League (SDHL).
Following the 2019-2020 season Brodt finished her career at UMD 21st in program history in points with 98 over 141 games played.
The forward be joined on the LHC by fellow North American Olivia Zafuto, a defender out of Colgate University.
