Former UMD women’s hockey netminder, Maddie Rooney named to Olympic team

Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey goaltender Maddie Rooney has once more been selected to the U.S Olympic. team.
Rooney is one of three goaltenders that will be making the trip to Beijing to represent the United States in the 2022 winter Olympic games.
The Andover, Minnesota native is also currently working with the Bulldogs program, as a goaltending consultant.
