Huskies strike back against Mankato to split series

On Tuesday the Duluth Huskies rallied back from a game one rain delay loss on Monday to down the Mankato MoonDogs 11-2.

With the win the Huskies secured the series split.

Duluth was led offensively by Calyn Halvorson tallying three RBI and one hit, Peyton Powell with two RBI, one hit and one run, and Mike Boeve with two RBI and one run.

Zach Statzer threw two strikeouts for the Huskies.

The Huskies (9-9) are off on Wednesday. They’re back in action Thursday opening a four game road series against Willmar. First pitch is set for 7:05pm.
