Inaugural Bienvenue Coffee Fest a big success

The inaugural Bienvenue Coffee Fest was held at the St. Louis County Depot Saturday.

The event featured several coffee and tea vendors as well as bakeries, demonstrations, and live music.

Only a few hours into the event, the Depot’s director had already declared the Bienvenue Coffee Fest a big success.

“We’ve had a terrific turnout. It’s been really so surprising, so pleasantly surprising,” said Mary Tennis, Director of the St. Louis County Depot. “We really didn’t know what to expect. This is the Depot’s first event, the first really big event, since all of the COVID closures."

Tennis went on to say that people are already asking when the next Bienvenue Coffee Fest will be.

While there is no set date, she said they hope to expand the event in the future and that the next Fest might be held at a colder time of the year.
