Lead Instructor Brett Olson, gears up for Twin Ports Pro Development Hockey Camp

This year marks the seventh summer that Brett Olson will be hosting the Twin Ports Pro Development Hockey Camp at Superior Ice Arena.

The camp is not only ran, but also designed by Professional hockey players. The likes of which even include Gabbie Hughes, from the University of Minnesota Duluth women’s hockey team.

"I think that we provide an elite level of instruction. We can use our resumes for that as a backing point. I think the mix of guys that we have had and girls that have been coaching this camp for the last several years have got it down. We understand the different elements of the game," said owner of the camp Brett Olson.

Through the seven years of running the camp, Olson said that the overall goal hasn’t changed.

"We have different teaching styles that can relate to all sorts of kids that are in the game. We also know how to share our ideas in a constructive way so that the kids can take a bunch of lessons out of camp, but also understand the fun aspect of the game as well," Olson concluded.
