Men’s hockey WIAC Quarterfinals: UWS wins, Northland falls in game 1

Friday was the start of the 2022 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Quarterfinals.

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) was against University of Wisconsin-Stout.

After two periods of scoreless play UWS’s David Kaplan would score the lone goal in the game, as the Yellowjackets take the first match 1-0.

Another set of quarterfinals took place in Eau Claire, with Northland College taking on the Blugolds.

The Blugolds would enjoy an offensive outing, as Northland unfortunately dropped the first match by the final of 8-1.
