After a tough year, another milestone to celebrate at Mike’s Pub. Their new patio space is open and ready for you.
The 6,000 square foot space is where the former Moose building was. It burned down during the first fire of 2020.
You can putt around, play basketball, throw some magnetic darts, throw beanbags, and ride a mini merry go round!
"It’s more of a community project," explained Mike Egan, the owner. "People come to eat, kids have something to do. We have live entertainment on the stage on weekends."
Egan survived a serious bout of COVID. And the business was closed for awhile after a second fire on the other side of the building.
As for the patio, his granddaughter, Ava, told us you should come visit, "Because it’s really fun, and you can hang out with your family, and the food is good!"
Carla Magnuson, a bartender, added, "We survived two fires, and COVID, and now we’re hoping to survive through short-staffing. We really need people in the kitchen."
They plan to have a bean bag league in the fall.
Reservations are encouraged on the patio: 218-440-1213. It’s open Monday-Saturday at 12pm.
