Moose Lake’s Adamczak, Duluth’s Kunze inducted into Minnesota Basketball Hall of Fame

Thursday night during halftime of the Timberwolves home game against the San Antonio Spurs, the Minnesota State High School Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2022 was introduced.
Among the 15 person class includes Moose Lake native Annie Adamczak and Duluth’s Terry Kunze.
A 1961 Duluth Central graduate, Kunze led Central to a state title that same year. He then went on to play, and serve as an assistant coach, for the University of Minnesota Gophers. He also served as head coach for the Minnesota Fillies of the WPBL.
Adamczak was a three spots athlete graduating from Moose Lake in 1982. Across basketball, volleyball, and softball she was won five state titles. Her 1981-1982 teams won three state championships with a 79-0 record. She then went on to play volleyball at Nebraska.
