Names of Ashland Co. plane crash victims released
The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims of Saturday’s plane crash as 21-year-old Aleah Mika and 29-year-old Aaron Mika of Marengo.
The two died when a single-engine American Champion plane crashed into a residence in Marengo. The sheriff’s office said no one on the ground was hurt.
The two who were killed were believed to be the only ones aboard the plane.

A preliminary report on the Federal Aviation Administration website says the crash happened under "unknown circumstances." The FAA and the the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
FAA records show the plane was manufactured in 1999 and was owned by a company based in St. Paul.
