No. 9 Cherry blows past South Ridge in Thursday night football

In Thursday night football action Cherry powered past South Ridge notching a 52-0 road win.

This marked the Tigers first game back after a two week hiatus due to Covid-19 protocols.

Cherry, ranked ninth in the state in Section 9-Man, improves to 5-0 on the season. Noah Asuma and Isaac Asuma each scored two touchdowns, incluing a 75 yard punt return from Isaac.

They’ll look to close out their regular season with a perfect record visiting Cook County Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 7pm. South Ridge (3-4) will close out their regular season Wednesday hosting Silver Bay at 5pm.
